Qualifications:
- BS/MS Food Science
- 5+ years food product development experience
- Experience in formulation and manufacturing of food products
- Understanding of FDA GMP's
- Skilled in sensory evaluation
- Ability to travel internationally and domestically
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer literate and experienced in fundamentals
Responsibilities:
- Develop new and existing food products
- Coordinate R&D effort to identify viable external contractors
- Manage assigned projects, work with multifunctional project teams, establish R&D project timelines
- Provide formulation and technical service support
- Conduct experimental processing trials
- Assist with process improvement projects
- Assist during start-up of new process equipment and new products
- Support raw material procurement strategies
- Help select and evaluate pack stability and performance
- Other duties as assigned
